This month, we’re raising a glass to Clair Carter, the inspiring artist and founder of The Chalk Spot. Not only that, Clair is the creative force behind our latest limited-edition collaboration.

Clair is a mum of three with an infectious passion for art and bringing people together. Her story is one of extraordinary resilience. After receiving a BRCA2 diagnosis, Clair faced an unimaginably tough year. A year that saw her undergoing both a double mastectomy and a hysterectomy within twelve months.

Rather than letting these challenges define her, Clair used them as fuel to reclaim her creativity and rebuild her life around the things that truly bring her joy. She picked up her brushes once again and began sharing her journey and artwork online, inspiring others through honesty, humour, and heart.

Turning Healing into Art

Through her platform, The Chalk Spot, Clair has created more than just beautiful hand-lettered designs; she’s built a community rooted in positivity and courage. Her work is a reminder that beauty can be found in the process of healing, and that creativity can be one of the most powerful forms of self-expression.

Her return to art became not only a personal triumph but also a source of light for thousands of others navigating their own challenges, and it didn’t stop there. This year alone, Clair’s videos have reached over 30 million views, proving that when we share what we love, it can be truly infectious.
