Pink Marmalade Gin Brings A Touch of Magic to The Old Orchard Gin Festival

Pink Marmalade Gin Brings A Touch of Magic to The Old Orchard Gin Festival

There’s something about summer gin festivals that makes us feel right at home. It’s the clinking of ice in a balloon glass, the gentle hum of live music, and that golden-hour glow that makes every sip feel like a celebration. The Old Orchard Gin Festival on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th August was exactly that: a weekend of sunshine, laughter, and gin exploration, with the pub’s beer garden transformed into a dreamy Gin Garden for the occasion.

With over 40 different gins to taste, guests meandered between stands, discovering everything from traditional London Dry profiles to unique, adventurous botanicals. But if you followed the sound of cocktail shakers, laughter, and a few surprised gasps (thanks to our colour-changing magic), you’d have found us: Pink Marmalade Gin, ready to paint the weekend in shades of blush and citrus.

A Weekend of Colourful Cocktails

We brought three of our favourite serves to the festival, each designed to capture the playful, elegant spirit of Pink Marmalade Gin:

🍸 Pink Marmalade G&T – A vibrant twist on a classic, with Fever-Tree Indian Tonic, a slice of pink grapefruit, and our iconic colour-changing gin.

🍸 Pink Lady – A blushing, silky shake with Cointreau and lemon; sophisticated yet fun.

🥂 Marmalade Fizz – The sparkling choice, blending pomegranate juice and prosecco for a glass of pure summer joy.

While every serve had its fans, the Pink Lady stole the show, winning hearts (and Instagram stories!) all afternoon. There’s just something about that soft blush hue and velvety citrus kick that feels made for a summer garden party.

Festival Magic

The festival itself was everything we love about these events: a buzzing crowd of gin lovers, the scent of citrus and botanicals in the air, and the simple joy of chatting with people who are as passionate about flavour as we are. Between live music sets, festival-goers lounged in deckchairs, G&T in hand, sampling their way through a world of craft gins.

We may have sold out drinks faster than expected (a very happy surprise!), but what really stood out was the enthusiasm and curiosity from every guest who stopped by. Whether they were trying Pink Marmalade for the first time or coming back for a second round of colour-changing magic, the energy was nothing short of infectious.

What’s Next

We’re thrilled to share that Pink Marmalade Gin is now proudly featured behind the bar at The Old Orchard; and you just might see it taking centre stage as Gin of the Month this September. For anyone who couldn’t make the festival, this is your chance to enjoy our signature serves in the same setting where they shone.

And if you were at the festival? We hope every sip brought a little sparkle to your weekend. Keep an eye on our socials for photos, videos, and future events, because this is just the beginning of another exciting season for Pink Marmalade Gin.

From sunny garden parties to cosy autumn nights, we’re here to add a splash of colour to every glass. Cheers to The Old Orchard team for a stunning weekend, and to every guest who came along to celebrate the art of gin with us. Until next time, let’s keep the magic alive. One pour at a time.
